Today's Shakespeare Log
Othello. This is not a new expierence for me, I've seen [and Sung] the Vivaldi Opera several times and read the play at least twice. I wasn't particularly thrilled by the Movie with Lawrence Fishburne, it seemed to lack passion even though it had some good sex scenes. I'm going to crank away on this, hopefully I'll have the entire second act read by the time I retire to my bed for much needed rest.

As an aside, Act 1 has one line which I think really sets the tone for the entire play

Look to her, Moor, if thou hast eyes to see:
She has deceived her father, and may thee. Act 1, Scene 3
That line alone gives the hint, the briefest scent of the tragedy that is to follow. go to Shakespeare.com for more info.

I failed to attend my french class today. I overslept. This isn't a good thing, as one can not do well if one is not in class.
