Attack of the Inuit!

Angie and I took our kayaks out today, it was a ton of fun, even in the high winds and choppy water. I really like how my kayak handles, it's extremely stable and manuverable. Angie did very well, so this is a winner for the both of us.

This week at work was very interesting. The presentation that Lisa and I wrote was given to the CFO, who was extremely pleased with our plan. It was also given to a VP; one who had been extremely down on us. He's singing a different tune now. Something like:

When I first met you I thought that we were on the same page and things would begin to happen... then something changed, and I wondered what went wrong. Now I see that it wasn't that you had changed, but that your management is being a roadblock. This presentation has me feeling that you are both on the right track and you should be allowed to begin implementation as soon as possible.
He cc:ed the CFO on the email, and she soon followed with one that said much the same thing, this time CC:ing the COO of the company. I hope that he sees the presentation soon, because it's got the solutions to the questions that he's been hammered with on the road show.

All in all, things are looking up!
