Woo Hoo! An Update!

As you may have noticed, I've been very busy and have been unable to update the blog as often as I would like. Such is the life of a young Software Architect..

The ongoing saga at work has more or less straightened itself out, which has allowed me to actually get things done. This is good. There is now so much design work to be done that I may not get to touch a line of code for quite some time. That's not a great thing, but it comes with the territory.

School is completed for the summer, which has put me back onto a real schedule. No more 11a-9p nights, thank god. I enjoyed my English class immensely, it was funny to watch so many people learn to cope with the moral and mental challenge presented in Lolita. If Nabokov had been in our classroom for some of the discussions he would have been rolling on the floor with laughter. So many people take Lolita so seriously and still manage to miss the main point.

I've just started reading Despair also by Nabokov. It's an interesting story about a man who plots his own murder. I'll let you know how it goes.
